Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Town Shop altered my bras.

To make them perfect.

For free.

How did I not go there years and years ago? I'm the most annoying of zealots -- a convert.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Even though victoria's secret doesn't carry my size would they measure me for a bra?

When I was "fitted" at VS they whipped a tape measure around my chest over my clothes and threw a size at me. I wouldn't bother.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Even though victoria's secret doesn't carry my size would they measure me for a bra?

Yeah, although I wouldn't necessarily trust the answer.

Nah, its the bras.

You're sweet, but no, in this case, I think it's me. My busom is rather small, but I guess it's... I dunno... round? Significantly more women fit into the traditional cup measurements, hence it makes sense for bra makers to tailor their stock to most women's chests, not mine. I just need to try on and shop around.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

When I was "fitted" at VS they whipped a tape measure around my chest over my clothes and threw a size at me. I wouldn't bother.

This is also true. They don't train employees well, or really at all, based on my experience with them. One of the girls who was supposed to be a seller told a customer that we didn't carry garter belts. I questioned her about it later, and it turned out she didn't even know what a garter belt was.

Mostly lurking...

So, I had my allergist appointment today. This is what I'm all pissy about. They told me I had to be off my antihistamines for five days. What they didn't tell me is that my psychiatric medications also block the testing. So, now I have to do it again. Except, I have to go off my psych meds for 5 days. I think my shrink won't allow it. So, I'm a wee bit frustrated.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Trudy, I so need to go there.

I think brenda and I need to road trip to NYC, visit Trudy, and visit Town Shop.

No Nordstrom's here. I've bought my bras before at Lane Bryant, but I don't think I've ever been fitted there. There's a Macy's but the last time I was there looking for bras I couldn't find a salesperson. Also a Dillard's, but I keep running into saleswomen with attitudes. There's also Parisan's, JC Penney's and Sears.

Also has anyone shopped at Ashley Stewart? There's one opening up right across from Lane Bryant soon.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Last time I was "fitted", I was told I was a B cup. I have never found a single B cup bra that has not had me overflowing. I'll take a D, thnk you.

There is a shop in Richmond, CA called Maxine's that specializes in the larger cup sizes and apparently the gal there is fantastic at finding THE RIGHT BRA for you. I haven't been out there, but my mom loves her.
