When I was "fitted" at VS they whipped a tape measure around my chest over my clothes and threw a size at me. I wouldn't bother.
This is also true. They don't train employees well, or really at all, based on my experience with them. One of the girls who was supposed to be a seller told a customer that we didn't carry garter belts. I questioned her about it later, and it turned out she didn't even know what a garter belt was.
So, I had my allergist appointment today. This is what I'm all pissy about. They told me I had to be off my antihistamines for five days. What they didn't tell me is that my psychiatric medications also block the testing. So, now I have to do it again. Except, I have to go off my psych meds for 5 days. I think my shrink won't allow it. So, I'm a wee bit frustrated.
Trudy, I so need to go there.
I think brenda and I need to road trip to NYC, visit Trudy, and visit Town Shop.
No Nordstrom's here. I've bought my bras before at Lane Bryant, but I don't think I've ever been fitted there. There's a Macy's but the last time I was there looking for bras I couldn't find a salesperson. Also a Dillard's, but I keep running into saleswomen with attitudes. There's also Parisan's, JC Penney's and Sears.
Also has anyone shopped at Ashley Stewart? There's one opening up right across from Lane Bryant soon.
Last time I was "fitted", I was told I was a B cup. I have never found a single B cup bra that has not had me overflowing. I'll take a D, thnk you.
There is a shop in Richmond, CA called Maxine's that specializes in the larger cup sizes and apparently the gal there is fantastic at finding THE RIGHT BRA for you. I haven't been out there, but my mom loves her.

That sucks.
Your allergist and your shrink need to fight it out. Perhaps with swords.
Here is a bra fit calculator if you want to attempt it yourself:

If you do do it yourself I would go to a store that carries your size and try on different styles just to be sure.
So, I forgot to ask Emily what she wanted for dinner. So, you all get to pick! Lucky you! Winner gets to choose the time you all show up!
- Chicken Jambalaya
- Smashed Potato Soup
- Ravioli and Caesar Salad
- Taco Salad
- Chili
I was impressed by the bra-fitting people I went to. Anybody really good at something, no matter how weird, impresses.
