Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

She is 'Teh Wee'.

I just made a ton of LJ Tinkerbell icons. This is not a coincidence.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I missed the memo on the kind of heels Aimee and ita just linked to. I think they are too '70s or something for me.

Either I'm getting old, or my genetic bad back is talking, but I just look at those and think "I would get so tired dragging those things around all day."

And yet I love my chunky-soled flat maryjanes. Huh.

Ooh, Aimee I love those.

I never think of you as that wee, Kristin.

I think I was more wee before I started eating Mexican food all of the time.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Those shoes remind me of a question I had about wearing high (or high-ish) heels: do high heels hurt to walk in for more than 15 minutes for everyone, or am I an enormous wuss? Because that's the main reason I don't wear heels.

Totally depends on the heels, Jilli. I very rarely wear shoes that hurt me.

ETA: Totally not a wuss.

I wear high heels only for special occasions for that very reason, Jilli.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

high heels hurt to walk in for more than 15 minutes for everyone

If you are a wuss, then I am one, too. I have a hard time finding comfortable heels.

I have a hard time finding shoes that fit period. Weird feet.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

do high heels hurt to walk in for more than 15 minutes for everyone

I can manage up to a 3" heel for several hours, including lots of walking, provided the heel is sturdy and the shoe itself has good insole support. juliana gave me a pair of boots with very thick, chunky 3" heels, and they're so beautifully made that I don't notice the heel at all until the end of the day when I take them off and suddenly everything around me is huge.

3" skinny heels or strappy sandallike shoes with no arch support, nope. 3 1/2" heels - ten minutes does me in, no matter how well-made and gentle the shoe is. I boggle at people like deb and Erin, who can wear high high spiky heels and move and be comfortable in them. It's magical.
