Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

OMG so stiff. I went running on Sunday, and then yesterday ended up doing a bunch of unplanned furniture moving, and now I'm so achy I just want to lie here and not go to work. Feh.

Because books.

Much ~ma for Laura's mom. And a wave to Cass's mom!

I was trying to be a lazy butt and went back to bed. But, then Emily called needing something, so I'm taking it as a sign that I need to be up and being productive.

vw and I are as one! I went back to sleep when Stephen got up and took Sara out of the room, but then I woke up a) having to pee, b) with an incredible knot in my neck, and c) actually kind of wide awake for once. Huh. That so rarely happens.

Came back, glass was empty, and the dog was stumbling into the walls.

Oh dear. ::trying not to laugh:: Poor thing.

Someone tell me to quit looking at xBoxes and pay my bills already.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Pay bills, then look at xBoxes.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

In Maine during the summer they have McLobster.

I think I missed the beginning of the double-jointedness discussion, but I've got Ehlers-Danlos. My doctor's pretty much said that there's not much that can be done about it except being careful not to overextend the joints, wearing braces to stablilize the joints sometimes, and NSAIDs for the pain.

Ann, that's a ferret.

In Maine during the summer they have McLobster.

I've actually eaten one of those. Meh.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

vw, your landlady is a crazy person. I think the most notice you have to give by law is 45 days. Can you tell her you can't make a decision right now?

This sucks, vw- my fear is that she will assume you are leaving and start showing the place before you give notice to leave. (it sounds like she has strong suspicions considering how hard she's riding you about it)

Yeah, I know. I did hear her having the same conversation with the downstairs neighbors too, though. I don't know why she's so crazy this year. She's never been like this.

If I thought she'd show it for a week, or so, then be done, it'd be one thing. But, I have a hard time believing they won't spend the whole freaking four months showing the place again. And I can't have my life disrupted like that.

What is even happening?

In Maine during the summer they have McLobster.

They have them in MA, too. I have never eaten one, because most chains, even those that aren't Fast Food chains, use frozen lobster, which is the source of the Meh.
