I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

vw, your landlady is a crazy person. I think the most notice you have to give by law is 45 days. Can you tell her you can't make a decision right now?

This sucks, vw- my fear is that she will assume you are leaving and start showing the place before you give notice to leave. (it sounds like she has strong suspicions considering how hard she's riding you about it)

Yeah, I know. I did hear her having the same conversation with the downstairs neighbors too, though. I don't know why she's so crazy this year. She's never been like this.

If I thought she'd show it for a week, or so, then be done, it'd be one thing. But, I have a hard time believing they won't spend the whole freaking four months showing the place again. And I can't have my life disrupted like that.

What is even happening?

In Maine during the summer they have McLobster.
I've actually eaten one of those. Meh.
They have them in MA, too. I have never eaten one, because most chains, even those that aren't Fast Food chains, use frozen lobster, which is the source of the Meh.

Don't let her show it. feh on her. It can't be that hard to rent a place in your area.

For the second morning in a row I woke up before 6 am - wide awake . that is insane.

Now i want a lobster roll. Not gonna happen

job ma~~ to Spidra

and asking for some for DH. There was one job he really wanted and we were on pins and needles for 3 months. He was turned down due to technicallities in the hireing process. They called him to say sorry, we really like you , but we are hireing someone that is better on paper. They wanted to hire him. Last night I ws looking around on craig's list - and the same place is offering a different job, a more interesting job, and one that would be useing more of his brain. It would be really cool.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Interview-ma to Spidra, with a side of yes, this is exactly the person you want to hire-ma to the folks doing the interviewing.

And job-ma to Matt. His current place so utterly doesn't deserve him.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sending out job~ma to them that needs it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I swear to god one of our vps is fucking with me. She keeps responding to emails like "for project A, it would be really helpful if marketing could yadda yadda yadda." For values of yadda yadda that equal the fucking document that was already attached to the email you're responding to, thanks ever so.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Do they, like, crash into stationary objects while walking across rooms?

Standing. Right. HERE.

As opposed to clutching your side or hopping frantically on one foot?

Good for you!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Do they, like, crash into stationary objects while walking across rooms?

It's tremendously entertaining to watch them trying to walk across the beach, but at the moment, let's just say they have a problem with heights. Both resisting them, and finding a way down from them that doesn't involve landing on their head.

It's true. They're kind of self-injuriously dumb. And they don't learn from their mistakes.
