Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

My nails are drying. My procrastination skills are reaching new heights. I am, however, getting some packing done, if no homework.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Nicole, you and I will just have to go Mojitoing.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ta Da!

I am willfully refraining from slutting for 25. SPP will be sorely disappointed in the lack of sluttery. So to make up for it, I shall take off my socks and shoes so as to show off my sexy ankles. t /Victorian modesty standards

I really hope it is quite clear to all involved if this is a good fit or not.

Yes, THIS, Cass. Thank you. And for you I wish the gentle miracle of longsuffering, laced with the mercy of awareness of the little joys in life - this for both you and the niecelet.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

When making mojitos, I feel that the mint should be muddled with the sugar to create a paste. Then add rum and ice, stir with long handled spoon. What's with this soda water thing?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

mojito:

I was going to give a recipe, but I see y'all have taken care of it!

we should probably remove this horribly restricting bra...

Here, you take this mojito and I'll do that.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Thread-change spanning sort of meara:

The Arts and Crafts movement was in the Sopranos this week

I saw that, Erika. It made me think how great it would be to see Emily Gilmore and Vito arguing over who got to buy an armoire they both wanted. Not enough to actually commit fic, but enough to think you could.

Congratulations, WindSparrow, on getting a promising interview so fast! That’s impressive in its own right. I hope the outcome is to your liking.

Mmm, mango mojito. I haven’t had one, but I like the sound of it. In my head, mojitos are mint juleps made with tequila. I know that’s wrong, but I’m not sure in how many ways it’s wrong, exactly. I should probably have a few to find out.

I need a muddler.

Continuing vibes for Cass and niecelet.

The rest of us that will be there next month are apparently chopped liver...
I’m eating chopped liver right now AIFG

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

First 30? Wow, it's been a while.

Back to catch up.

I'm getting the pig!

Nicole, you and I will just have to go Mojitoing.

Right on!

Why is today insisting on being today?!? I hate today. I want it to be May17th. No, wait. I want it to be May 13th, so I still have time to do laundry and pack and stuff.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I looked at the mojito recipe. It seems to leave out putting the rum mixture into the glasses. Is this one of those crafty ones where you give your "friends" tall, colorful glasses of soda water over crushed ice and you consume the entire rum/mint/sugar mixture on your own?
