'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I brought to the attention of the powers that be, but in typical Aimee-Fashion, I didn't think I'd end up having to make the noose.

Yeah, me too. It was actually not so cool, I think, for the boss in question to do that. And I hated the person I was gathering evidence on, but it was so stressful and YUCK.

Tep, I've also been having weird sugar highs and lows all week, and today is one of the better days I've had for a while, and what do I do? Have a cookie. Also, I've been sleeping, but still am constantly so tired I want to punch people in the face. If I had the energy to do so. And I can't get to the doctor for like a month to talk to her about it.

ION, I am eating leftover homemade curried lentils and brown rice with plain yogurt. When the fuck did I become such a happy hippie?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Aims, insent.

GF and I finished watching all of The Office (British version) last night. We loved it. Funny and touching and grim, oh my! I loved when Dawn opened Tim's Christmas gift to her and it was the oil paints with the card that said, "Never give up." So sweet.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

can you maybe say "You know I love spending time with you, but it's kind of hard for me to be at your place, so maybe we should look at spending more time at my place?

I always have a difficult time with that due to the pet situation. I can't leave my dog at home all night alone (the cat could care less) and I can't always take him to wherever it is I'd like to spend the night. Does The Boy have roommates that can watch the furry ones?

The Boy has no roommates, and the dogs *are* an issue. He lives only 5 minutes from me, so it's less of an issue than it could be. Generally, if he comes over after 8 or 9, he can give the dogs a treat and send them out for one last bathroom break before he comes over, and they're fine all night -- but he does have to get up and leave pretty early to let them out for their morning pee break. It's not a perfect solution, but it's the only workable one.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

It's not a perfect solution, but it's the only workable one.

At least until he hires a cleaning person. (What? I'm thinking of hiring one for once a month deep-cleaning.)

God, this is SO me.

I should add that yesterday morning was The Boy's grandma's funeral, so he was -- quite understandably -- in need of TLC more than he normally would. He's not a high-maintenance needy drama queen.

Um. Did you ever see the Queer Eye episode with the guy who had OCD whose apartment was completely PACKED with crap?

The Boy's house is not quite that bad -- some rooms are debris-free (other than pet hair) -- but some rooms are unfuckingbelievable. A cleaning person would have a heart attack.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Tep, I wish you a better day tomorrow.

Meanwhile I'm sort of sad about my parents having gone home; and I've had a splitting headache for hours; and I bought the most expensive purchase of my life thus far (excluding airline tickets), namely an iPod with vid capacity, but I'm too tired and achey to get with the whole 'woohoo! new toy!' response, (even though it has a lovely pink sock to be cosy in, and I'm considering calling it Rodney. Or possibly Sweet. Or maybe Cecilia. Or something else that hasn't occurred to me yet, but will do soon); and my loo won't flush; and the water pressure in the tap is dodgy as hell again, damn it; and my flatmates' fish somehow contrived to flood the living room last night for esoteric and Piscean reasons known only to themselves; and I'm Queen of the Menstrual People; and did I mention the bit about my head aching?

Also we've had 3 terrorist attacks in the past week, which is not very happy making. I went and watched V for Vendetta and thought it was fab, and would like to comment, except for the part where my head hurts, and the whole threat of terrorism thing is feeling very close to home.

Um.

God, I could really use a hug right now. In lieu of that, I'm going to eat a chocolate-covered, almond-stuffed date, and then order something comforting for dinner.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

God, I could really use a hug right now.

How about a foot and/or shoulder rub in a month? I can do that.

In lieu of that, I'm going to eat a chocolate-covered, almond-stuffed date, and then order something comforting for dinner.

Tasty treats and pleasures for Fay!

A shoulder rub in a month would be fantastic, Hec. And just wait until you see my new handbag. I feel confident that you will approve. I'll say no more, but you will know it when you see it.

eta

....and I've just been stymied in my attempt to order chicken soup and chilli fries and salad from Chillis, because apparently it will take them an hour to deliver. Bastards. Fine. See if I care.

pouts

They do nice soup.

pouts some more.

Also, my laptop's disk drive doesn't seem to recognise CDs anymore, and it's rejecting my ipod software disk. Damn it.

Yes, I know that most of my woes are very First World here, and my pearl-encrusted shoes aren't really too tight.

could still use a hug, though. will go and watch the pirate version of 'Howl's Moving Castle' I bought yesterday, and see if the cat feels like being snuggly.

Nice to see you and I am jealous of your vid ipod
