Lots of good news! Yay for Bobby and for vw's mom!

With the weird curl my hair has, I can't go the barbershop route. The stylist is expensive (but I'm worth it), but better than me sobbing my eyes out for days and threatening to trash the bitch's car what did this to my hair.

Um, not that that's ever happened.

Usually when I'm overseas I just give up and go the sasquatch route [link] , but have been disinclined to do that this time for various reasons.

There are some very trustworthy hairstylists in San Francisco. ijs.

I don't know if I'll have time! Otherwise, I so would do this. Maybe if Vortex goes to get something wild done with her hair I will accompany her and get my hair done too.

Their working theory is that she only does it when she's under stress and may not be 100% aware of her behaviour. Weird.

That's freaky. I worked with a woman for a bit who went through people's desks after work. She only hit the desks of people she didn't like/was threatened by, so I assume she was looking for something incriminating. People hated having to lock their desks, so I picked the lock on hers one morning (she didn't come in until ~10) and left a note that said "STOP GOING THROUGH OTHER PEOPLE'S DESKS!! -God" Which pretty much stopped it.

Laura, I'm so glad Bobby's surgery went well!!! Ben had a mole removed from his scalp when he was little. It was angsty for us. The head is really vascular, so the Derm. wouldn't do it, and sent us to a surgeon, too.

vw, YAY for the good news on your mother.

I've spent my morning working with dh on his request for a transportation package from his employer. They have some reimbursement programs in place for when they move you, and we seem to meet the qualifications for the transportation package, but we had to craft an argument.

They say we noodle around on the internet. I say we're honing valuable life skills.
