Sometimes the fans are prescient.
I'd assume one would acquire a strawberry scent the same way one acquires the scent of jasmine, baby powder, or Chanel #5.

My impression is, in badfic, people naturally smell/taste like starwberries/vanilla.
Sort of puts a new spin on 'Mmmmm, cookies' yesno?
Flea's impression is not a false one, in fanon. I've read quite a few where BUffy naturally exudes essence of vanilla instead of sweat. It's kind of creepy, actually.
They seem to be confusing Buffy with the strawberry shortcake characters.
I recall the little plastic dolls smelled of various fruits.

Mine, too. I figured it for a natural scent and gift with purchase of violet eyes, limpid pools of cerulean, or rich pots of chocolate with just a hint of sherry.
The natural scent idea is incredibly disgusting. People should smell like nothing, or like musk, or like sweat. And as little of the latter as possible, ot at least keep it fresh.
Moving desks today. I hope it's being done in a way where I don't have to do diddly. Will be sad to leave some of these people, moving all the way across the way. Still line of sight, but not kooshball tossing range, unless kettlebell pays off dramatically.
I just spent fifteen minutes working from outside, sending and replying to emails on my Blackberry. Not quite a nap, but restorative nonetheless. I wonder if there's wireless signal out there...
That whole smells like strawberries thing squicks the hell out of me, and always has. I'm not even quite sure why.
Hey, the Royals may not lose 13 in a row. The Detroit pitcher is getting shelled in the 1st inning.
I'm with you on the squck, Brenda.
I always got the impression that Buffy was using that ubiquitious vanilla scented perfume that was everywhere in the mid nineties, while Willow/Scully just smelled like strawberries.
Also, when I think of strawberries in that context, I think of Ron Howards brother as a horrible pig of a man in Far and Away, calling Nicole Kidman's character a "luscious strawberry tart".

Too much Strawberry Shortcake dolls? God, those things STANK.
