I'm with you on the squck, Brenda.
I always got the impression that Buffy was using that ubiquitious vanilla scented perfume that was everywhere in the mid nineties, while Willow/Scully just smelled like strawberries.
Also, when I think of strawberries in that context, I think of Ron Howards brother as a horrible pig of a man in Far and Away, calling Nicole Kidman's character a "luscious strawberry tart".
That whole smells like strawberries thing squicks the hell out of me, and always has. I'm not even quite sure why.
Too much Strawberry Shortcake dolls? God, those things STANK.

I think it was "horrible pig" that set me up to read the description as "luscious strawberry fart."

Is it the rolling around naked in a bathtub full of fresh strawberries to get the scent?

Oh, boy. Yeast infectionorama.
I can't imagine a *good* strawberry scent. It just doesn't translate to scents.
the only good strawberry scent is from real berries - so unless you are wearing strawberries as earrings, it just doesn't work.
