I forsee msbelle wearing closed toe shoes for a while.

There were a lot of stupid bags of flesh on the road today. A mom jogging with her kid in a stroller IN THE STREET when there was perfectly decent sidewalk nearby. A busy street. Guy, helmetless riding a bike in traffic, against flow, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LANE. Student crossing the street at a not crosswalk WITHOUT LOOKING and requiring evasive maneuvers by not one, but 3 cars.

In other stupid news, fucking hell, they are insecticiding the apartment complex friday. They do not tell me if they are using fumigants, in which case, I need to vacate the cats as well because NO ONE POISONS MY CATS. In any case, I have to fucking empty my fucking kitchen. Completely. Fuck.

I should not have left my bed this morning, I think.

I'm disappointed in how many things "battery" covers. Misdemeanor battery is what the krav instructor who beat up a guy in self defense was charged with, and it's the same term for licking a stranger's toes? Doesn't seem right.

I have a specific pair of shoes I want to wear today, and I can't seem to put together the right outfit for them. My black skirts don't fit when I'm at the top of my weight bracket.

I think we've discussed this before, but what's the difference between assult and battery? Assult means just attacking, whether or not you hit them, and battery is the hitting?
