I had read before that he overplayed Schiavo so badly nobody was even thinking that he would try for it, but in politics-years, who can say?

Well, Jeb still says he's not going to run for whatever that's worth.
Well, the Bushes aren't known for their truthiness.
I still have some faith in Katherine Harris to make Florida even more of a political laughing-stock (sorry, Laura and askye!) before then to take Jeb off the table.
Jeb's got everything he needs for a nomination.
Southern governer - check.
Name recognition - check.
Can raise money - check.
RNC support - check.
Unless another Republican gains some momentum, I think Jeb is a shoe-in for the nomination. Course, he could be serious about not wanting to run.
What about Bill Frist?
What about Bill Frist?
I consider him the nomination winner by default. If nobody else gets any momentum then Frist is the guy, but he is a Senator and senators aren't great in Presidential elections. I think a big name like Bush or Giuliani would knock him out. I'm not sure about the establishment getting behind Giuliani though.
What about Bill Frist?
PEOPLE NEED TO STOP SAYING THIS.
Seriously, I feel cold and nauseous just thinking about it.
[Plus, what if it's like Beetlejuice, and by saying it we're making it happen? WHY TEMPT FATE???]
Frist doesn't strike me as a very charismatic guy, I think he'd be very defeatable. Plus he's a senator which means there's a big track record of votes that can be used against him fairly and unfairly.
Frist hasn't been doing that well. On the other hand, I thought NO WAY someone as boneheaded, inexperienced, and politically vulnerable as George W. Bush would get elected.
I think he'd be very defeatable.
I wish I could think this, but I just don't know who the Dems have right now. I mean, Hillary?
