I was taking Omega 3 for a non babymaking reason, but I never burped fishy. I don't know if it was a me thing, or a brand thing.
I've never had a fishy thing, but I've been taking flax seed capsules as my omega 3 source.
Unless pregnant people aren't allowed to eat fish! I know there was a thing about mercury at one point, but, let's just say it's a good thing I"m not the chef at the maternity ward. Too many rules.
There are types of fish that pregnant woman are supposed to avoid/eat minimally. But I am not sure what they are.
Everyone's supposed to watch their tuna intake now, aren't we?

Me too, on all counts. Though not all Omega 3s are fish oil; there's also flax and some other kind. (I get mine at Trader Joe's, and the label says something like EFA [essential fatty acids, I assume]).
heh look what my friends just got into their store

Huh -- I get to nine pills (fiber, minerals, vitamins, EFA, one prescription) daily if I count 'em up. And that doesn't include divers painkillers and Sudafed taken frequently in an average day....
Mine were the fishy sort too. Guess I (and the people around me) got lucky. I stopped taking them when I ran out. I'm lazy like that. I make sure I'm up on multivitamins, glucosamine, and my regular migraine meds.
eta: I'm at 14 pills if I don't have to take anything for pain
I'm going to a senior recital tomorrow for a girl who sings in the symphony chorus with me. She's a harpist, and she's going off to college in Toronto. I'd sort of like to get her a little gift, and I'm trying to remember what was useful when I went off to college.
Suggestions?
Yay, Jesse!!!!!
So now there's the big yellow plastic bullet,
I take these, too. For non-baby-making reasons.
Goodness, I take (counts on fingers) 19 pills per day. Yikes. Most of those are vitamins, but still.
Beer. I found that very useful.
