All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Doesn't it suck when they sing in harmony?

Yup.

Was it Marcia Cross who blamed it on mercury poisoning from fish?

I think a different interpretation of "drag" would make races much more entertaining.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, Marcia Cross is a spokesperson for Imitrex.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"Drag Queens with Power Tools" - Should this be

  • a movie?
  • a play?
  • a musical?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Marcia Cross is a spokesperson for Imitrex

Aha! My sometimes wonder-drug. But I gotta switch back and forth between that and Maxalt, not least of all to get insurance to pay for my relief.

Tommy, the assumption is that it's porn, right?

Not necessarily. It could be a light comedy about three drag queens who open a hardware store...

... and maybe a plucky orphan girl.

Drag Queens With Power Tools is the next Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and/or To Wong Foo, depending on who they can get.

I'm thinking that maybe at first the orphan girl is not so much plucky as she is bitter and distant. The drag queens teach the girl about love and family by forcing her to work in the hardware store. So, you know, cross-dressing, power tools and child labor save the day....

You gotta be sure your boa is safely tossed over your shoulder before you start the belt sander.

There could also be a subplot - the coming out story of an Underwriters' Laboratories engineer....

I really think we might be on to something here. Sequins yes, boa no, in the hardware store.
