NEW YORK (AP) -- If Dr. Phil can dispense advice, why not Mr. T?

The TV Land network announced Tuesday that it will start "I Pity the Fool," a series where "The A-Team" star travels across the country dispensing inspiration and advice.

"The 't' stands for talking," he said in an interview with The Associated Press. "I'm going to talk it up. It's what I've been doing all my life."

The series starts in October. He'll offer help to people struggling with personal or professional problems.

"My show ain't no 'Dr. Phil,' with people sitting around crying," he said. "You're a fool -- that's what's wrong with you. You're a fool if you don't take my advice."

Also, looking at the cut, my current cut is the same in front (much shorter in back). I like the slightly-structured levels.

Ooh, now I want that haircut too, Allyson. BTW, I think it will look cute on you, but you should also plan on wearing it curly much of the time given that it will be about 1000 times easier for you to style it curly.

And also? That cannibal guy? Totally should have gotten a longer sentence in my book because it was a thoroughly planned and plotted murder. The fact that the murder victim "wanted" to die doesn't factor in in my book. Because, um, last I checked, we are learning this fact from THE MURDERER. And also, the fact that he thinks what he did is A-OK doesn't make him crazy so much as it makes him dangerous.

That's hilarious, Dana. I don't know that I could watch it, as I tend to feel embarassed for people, but the concept alone is priceless.

I'd rather watch Mr. T than Dr. Phil, if forced into a choice.

Mr. T is surely the best at being Mr. T. Not so sure about his ability to give others advice, but you know you find worse celebritieis to do it.

Okay, if Mr. T is getting his own advice show, I think *I* should have a nationally-televised advice show. Just because, dammit.

I think Jilli should have a show on Bravo and teach people to be Gothy. I'd watch it all the time.
