Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am in a weird mood right now. I think some of my ideas about my career path are crystallising, from all different directions. Stuff. Bouncing around in head. It feels weird.

I'm going to have to make some life decisions sometime soon. I'm so not feeling up to it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's always kind of unnerving stuff, ita, even when it's for the best. Anything you feel like bouncing off of others?

Not yet. It all seems so very obvious, but I'm also very tired. Why can't the rest of the world go on hiatus until I'm ready?

I hope the nervous feeling is just because I've only just now realised it, and not something that's going to last.

I hope so too, ita.

IOmemeN, why am I so much less tired now than I have been at any point during the day?

I like being introspective so much more when there's nothing to do about the navelgazing.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It was all that frenetic napping, Perkins.

I like being introspective so much more when there's nothing to do about the navelgazing.
I think you just defined insomnia. Damn.

But I hope the navel gaze showed you the right way to look tomorrow and in the future.

Have a nice day. Don't get killed!

I'm new, so I hope I'm not doing anything that will get me exiled from the Whedonverse.

Just wanted to let the 'verse know that sunnydale_salvage is a new seller at eBay (just a seller, not yet a store), and you might want to check out my auctions occasionally (I have to move to a smaller place, so I'm forced to sell off most of my collection of "Buffy" and "Angel" memorabilia).

Right now I've got some autographed photos listed for sale on eBay... soon, I'll have more autographed photos... a few signed T-shirts... & misc stuff like mousepads, lunchboxes, a few art prints... (plus, whatever I turn up at the bottom of the crater).

So please visit eBay occasionally & see what sunnydale_salvage has to offer!

(Y'know, digging to the bottom of that crater wasn't easy, and if you think all the Hellmouthy demons got killed dead in the collapse, think again... it's a dusty, dangerous place at the bottom of that big hole where Sunnydale used to be...which, come to think of it, sounds pretty much like the old above-ground Sunnydale....)

Anyway, thanks for taking note (and, if I've chosen the wrong thread for this sort of ad, please push me gently in the right direction. THANKS!)

Valory, sunnydale_salvage

Have a nice day. Don't get killed!

(1) If anyone has a Buffyverse-related web site/forum/etc., and is willing to mention sunnydale_salvage as an eBay seller (just a seller, not yet a store), listing eBay auctions of photos and T-shirts with autographs (a few up now, with more to come, so it merits the occasional look-in), plus a misc assortment of Buffyverse memorabilia.... uh, as I was saying, if you're able & willing to mention sunnydale_salvage at your own site, favorite forum, etc, I'd be very grateful!!! and might even sacrifice a virgin or two in your name (if I ever meet any).

Also, if you could suggest other sites/forums/etc. where I could/should be contacting the 'verse to say 'here I am" (or, rather, there at eBay I am)....I'd greatly apreciate your advice & suggestions.

(2) I just hope my ancient computer holds together long enough for me to save up for a new one, preferably a notebook computer (which is one of the goals of my theoretical eBay sales). Any of you computer geniuses have a recommendation on the best notebook computer compromise between price, portability, & performance, for web-surfing, writing, image editing, & DVD viewing???

THANK YOU for any advice/help you can offer!)

Valory, sunnydale_salvage

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

From McSweeneys:

HELEN THOMAS (Hearst Newspapers): Is the use of tactical nuclear weapons on the table for Iran?

SMARTERCHILD: Is the use of tactical nuclear weapons? Nah, I don't think so. Maybe, though.
