Woe to the fucking wicked.

ita, IME, anything in dark colors (I tend to wear black) that is long-sleeved will work. More layers just means that balls are less likely to break and less likely to hurt. Turtleneck seems like overkill, but, then, I've never seen anyone hit in the neck. Plenty of mask-shots, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm wearing my nightclothes. Grey men's work pants and a black, longsleeved mock-turtleneck top.

They're not inherently nightclothes. It's just where they've been allocated. Running shoes I guess, and I need to find another layer for my top, either under or over.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've decided it is in my best interests to invite people ove to my place every couple of weeks or so. It forces me to straighten up and de-clutter and clean things that may not get cleaned in the normal weekly cleaning.

I used to do that, but then I moved to Belmont.

No one ever wants to come to Belmont.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I was hoping for eggplants and tomatoes, but it seems I'm a bit too early for that.

We don't get organic, locally grown tomatoes until August, or late July at the earliest.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I've decided it is in my best interests to invite people ove to my place every couple of weeks or so. It forces me to straighten up and de-clutter and clean things that may not get cleaned in the normal weekly cleaning.

I spent all day last Saturday cleaning, and then when my family visited me on Sunday, they still found things to criticize. So this week my apartment is messy again, and I can't get motivated to clean. Why bother?

Swouncing

Hey, Hec! How are you doing? Yes, I'm a skipper, I have no idea, I'm sorry.

they still found things to criticize

Is it the sort of place where it's about them and not you, and therefore if the place were spotless, they'd criticize you for the floors being so shiny they can see themselves in them and get confused? Or am I just being mean?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

do you enjoy a clean place? if so, then that is reason to bother.

Also? families criticizing is unfortunate.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I could have sworn I saw organic tomatoes at the farmer's market yesterday. I don't eat 'em, though, so I didn't investigate.

Could you give up having your family visit instead of giving up cleaning? They do not sound like a fun group.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yeah. I saw a few at the little farmers market on Wednesday, but none today. In New Jersey, tomoatoes aren't until August, generally, either. I thought I remembered eggplants around this time of year in DC last year, but I could be mistaken.

Still, kale and chard and sweet potatoes are all good.
