Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. I click on that Onion link and I see a banner ad: "Serenity in theaters 09.30.05"

Huh?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

That's bizarre -- try this one: [link]

[eta: Oh, or did you just mean that the banner ad is woefully out of date? I might have misread.]

OK, I see an up-to-date banner ad....

Yeah.

I'm sure they have software that rotates their banner ads. The old Serenity one must have just gotten in there with the new ones....

eta: I hit reload and got Serenity back again....

The Roomba people have a floor-washing robot:

Robots attack!

Clean kitchen floors mystify humans!

It's called the iRobot Scooba, but with a name like that I'd think it would clean swimming pools....

The Rolling Stone article on Bush: The Worst President in History?

Also - dammit, someone else post something!

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I am not feeling chatty, Tom. Sorry!

Although thanks for the procrastination tools. If you also deliver oreos, I'd be much obliged.

Art Crawl!!!

Alias: Why is it that Vaughn is so extra hawt when dressed as a priest or a monk ? Also, in the promo was that really, Evil Francie? Because I KNOW I saw Gina Torres.

TAR: Totally Camelicious -- I hope you saw it Aimee! I had to take notes so that I could recap it for my SIL who has Tennis until halfway through it. We're both suffering from the TAR/Alias cross-scheduling. I was predicting that it would be a NON-ELIM this week and I am so relieved to be right! It was very sad to see BJ so down -- and Yolanda did display more courtesy than most of the racers. Which, I suppose, balances out her part in the weird, "Let's not tell the Hippies Anything" episode at the airport that morning. First, Fran and Barry walking past the Frats like they were Lake and Michelle. Then the whole gang playing the idiotic pretend we don't know when our flight arrives game. So, do we get another non-elim leg this season ?

Cookies, huh? Well, I gotta make a grocery-store run soon, as I have no caffeinated products here....

What is even happening?

You're in Hell? At least they'll let you go to the grocery store. I hope you don't get stuck behind someone who cheats in the Express Lane. I hear that happens there. A lot.
