Right, there comes a point where you have to either move on, or just buy yourself a Klingon costume and go with it.

Ann, that's a ferret.

And there's this mite, that has about fifty babies, and only one or two are male, and they have sex with all their sisters right inside their mother before they're even born, and then they're born by the mother just exploding and all the females take off to start a new life of waiting to explode, while the male stays behind and starves to death inside his mother's corpse!

Reason #9,385 I'm glad I'm human.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

In a run for what office?

In opposition to the voter initiative: "Let's make the creepy-ass worms our leaders."

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

and then they're born by the mother just exploding

Those are the South Dakota mites.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Conclusion: ground up fish mush.

The wikipedia entry completely leaves out several main ingredients in gefilte fish: matzo meal and eggs. Without that, it is just ground up fish much. With those, not so mushy -- kind of like meatballs, but with fish instead of beef.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Well, yeah, but there's kind of a selection bias here, because no one's canvassing the opinions of the mites in all this. Granted, the gay mites probably feel they got the rough end of the pineapple, and now I'd love someone to get funding to explore the prevalence of homosexuality in incestuous failure-to-launch mites.

I would like to take this opportunity to assure all my fans that in my hands, Failure to Launch would have been a very, very different movie.

Huh. Homosexuality for the mites could be both a choice and determined before they're born....

What time is it in Israel? 7ish? Has our dear Nilly checked in?

Israel time is seven hours later than east coast time, so it's about 6 there. I think that Nilly's at her parents' this week, which means limited computer access.

There are people out there who really think they'll get immediate responses to increasingly shrill and panicked emails sent between 11 pm on a sunday (easter sunday, no less!) and 5 am on a monday. Sheesh. I think the person in question had waaaaay too much coffee.

They scare me.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

People in the US? That's not right.

I feel ridiculously tired today. Some of it is actual tiredness, due to waking up too early (or going to bed too late, but whatever), but mostly I think it's just allergies. Stupid trees!
