The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay Isaac.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What's matzo brie, exactly?

So I am taunt deprived? That's harsh.

I'm a harsh kinda person. Who thinks she should crack open some of that sweet tamarind goodness. Just as soon as she's done with the coffee, and maybe clears her palate with some ginger ale.

If anyone knows of some good ginger concentrate, so I could futz with making a lower sugar version of the ale, I'd be very grateful for the heads up. I've heard of it, but don't remember the right name, and have been googleblocked.

eta: Cool on Isaac!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hooray for big-boy Isaac! That's kind of crazy -- weren't you just preggo?

information libertarian

Dang he's a big walky boy. His birthday is in, what, 10 days?

Perkins, I have a spare stick blender I could send you. I got 2 for Xmas. It's Braun and basic and new-in-box. Would be happy to.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

matzo brie (pronounced like "try") is basically eggs scrambled with crumbled matzo. It sounds random, I know, but it tastes kinda like pan fried noodles.

I've had it where it was more like matzo French toast, too.

He's almost a year. And really, he's just taking a few steps at a time, but he's so proud of himself. He has this big, shit-eating grin every time he stands up and walks. To me it's both happy and sad-making because my tiny little baby is turning into a toddler.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Joe and Sean and I are talking about going back again on a weeknight when it's not quite as crowded with younger kids.

Just had a sudden attack of jealousy. With the California, and the fun, and the seeing Joe and Sean... sniff!

Happy Birthday, by the way!

Okay, back to... staring at my work and not actually doing it.

Twice the fun of chasing them down! Think of all the exercise you'll be getting soon.

That would rock. flea! I would be happy to pay for postage and all that. I would email you, but I'm not sure I know part of the info I would need to do so. Can you send me an email at my profile address, so I can send you one back?
