I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would not mind having jelly beans, either. Since I neglected to actually enter a retail establishment selling such things when I was out and about earlier, I'll have to check the sales tomorrow.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am in the process of putting together a shopping list, and in theory I am even going to make it to the grocery store today, so there might be jelly beans later.

I was going to make your black bean soup, Jesse, but I still don't have a hand mixer.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wish I had fluffy pancakes and Blue Mountain coffee.

Oh, wait.

It's Sunday, and a slow Sunday, so I've spoken to mother and father, sister at great length, and one friend so far.

Very tiring. Must restore constitution.

ita's taunting us again.

I have 5 bags of tamarind balls though, so I can taunt in return.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Happy Birthday ND!

Our wings are not tired

Oh, happy birthday, Drew! How did the laser tag go, Kristin?

The laser tag was a lot of fun. Joe and Sean and I are talking about going back again on a weeknight when it's not quite as crowded with younger kids.

The one time I went I was stalked by some dumb tweener. It was irritating.

War games are for grownups, dammit! Glad you had a good time.

::wanders over to kitchen::

Five bags, and a box. You were saying?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy Brithday, ND! And Happy Easter to the Christians & Happy Passover to the Jews. I have a bit of both in me, so in honor of Passover I decided not to make bacon for Easter brunch. I was almost going to make matzo brie (how do you spell that one anyway?) because I love it mucho, but settled on scrambled eggs and hash browns instead.

So I am taunt deprived? That's harsh.

Maybe I should take a nap to recover.
