Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now I want bun and cheese. Maybe Saturday. Especially since that may be the next time I eat, given I just ate ALL THE FOOD IN THE WORLD at this seder I was just at. I didn't even eat all the kinds of food that were available there, and yet? All the food in the world.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's a passover miracle!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

TOTALLY.

Now I have to go to bed to try to sleep off the matzoh high.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jesse, how was your adventure in the suburbs?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Shrift, congratulations on being only one day away from complete freedom!

Me, I had a review first thing this morning (they think I'm great: clearly someone's spiked the coffee supply); and then a project interview (which we tanked unless they missed the part where we couldn't get the laptop to work); and then some jackass nearly drove over me while I was legally crossing the street in a crosswalk; and then some total stranger decided he could fill a jug of water from my outside faucet. WTF?

So, it's been a day.

But yay Shrift! And yay RIO with the move! And... stuff!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That is indeed a day, Consuela. I hope tomorrow is less of one.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Kimberly Williamson Butler, a mayoral candidate in New Orleans

I think she's the crazy one, so her chances were probably already zero.

I didn't think that ruled one out of a career in Louisiana politics.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

It's much less moist than fruitcake.

I read that as "much less Maoist". I think I'm high off robin's eggs.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am back from my Seder and the black shoes were A-OK. It was kind of weird, we had lamb over rice and a cheese kugel. Whatever, I don't keep kosher, but it was odd.

Unfortunately, when we arived the inside handle of the driver's side door broke off. So now we're doing the really classy roll down the window and open the door from the outside thing until we can fix it. And that distracted DH from turning off the headlights, so we had a dead battery when we were ready to go home. Fortunately, some of our fellow celebrators were parked nearby and gave us a jump. So, safely home. and well matzohed.
