Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

LALALALALALALALALA

See? Exactly what I was talking about.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

There's a middle ground that goes from readable gestures to having the talk that I'd hope scares the beejeezus out of everyone, just because it makes me catch my own breath.

It scares the bejeezus out of me, I know that. That's when I feel the most vulnerable. I *hate* feeling vulnerable.

Me no like The Talk. Not even when it turns out well.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Well, duh, msbelle. "The nicest" is categorically very different from "nice."

One is all sunshine and puppies and fluffy crinoline skirts and the freedom to call ita a fluffy bunny and ita bobita without consequences, and is indisputably you; the other is cold rain and unsalted rice cakes and ita killing you with her pinky out of irritation that you expected her to read your mind.

Also, msbelle=the total opposite of passive. You may continue to rest on your laurels of the nicestness.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No one gets to call me bobita without consequences, for the record.

Me no like The Talk. Not even when it turns out well.

Is the talk easier when you're not the one that starts it?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The prices are sensible, about $325 to $415 for a dress and $525 for a coat

Ha.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

What do people think about the connection between crushes/pining/unrequited obsession and relationships? I've never had both with the same person, so crushing always seems a little destined to fail to me. I'm sure there's a BMECT! out there.

Punishingly Intricate

And to go with the monkeys, Noodles

my not-nice, very mean friends' April Fool's this year was that a noodle house was opening in the neighborhood. It was allegedly called "Honpopo". They had a fake logo made up and everything.

I feel robbed of noodles!

Oh, FUCK no. At least, not for me. If I'm not the one who started it, I have a soul-crushing sense of doom, as in YOU ARE ABOUT TO BE DUMPED IN A PSYCHOLOGICALLY CRIPPLING WAY AND TOO BAD THIS CAN'T BE DONE IN PUBLIC FOR MAXIMUM TRAUMA.

But I have issues.

I don't know what a BMECT! is, but that's more or less what's going on with me and The Boy right now.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

BMECT

But My Experience Contradicts That.
