See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Of course, there's not a lot that doesn't sound good when doused in lemon and butter.

Raisins.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Those Herzog stories always amaze me. I don't know how the guy who made Stroszek has become this unflappable humanist saint.

Not to mention the guy who several times was a half step away from killing or being killed by Klaus Kinski (or the man who put everyone through what he put them through for FITZCARRALDO, including those of us who've tried to watch the movie).

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Any of the above, and then call Betsy's employer's cafeteria staff to let them know how it affected your pee.

Peppermint sticks. Also, milk of any kind.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm not entirely sure about the temperature at which one roasts asparagus--I pulled the lemon/hazelnut asparagus recipe out of my long-term memory. Corwood, do you know?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

One of my favorite family cookie recipes includes raisins, lemon juice, and better. Now I can't remember if it's brambles or Eccles Cakes, but either way, yum.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

If you're using a ceramic pan in an oven, I'd go with 375 for 15-20 minutes, but that's all off the top of my head. On the grill, it took about 15 minutes at low flame with turning or repositioning every five or so.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

From a ways back:

I love that the big, big belts are making a comeback. That is an 80's fashion I can get with.

Yes! Suddenly all sorts of sellers on eBay are selling the really wide elastic cincher belts that close with snaps or interesting latches! I'm stocking up, because I've been looking for those types of belts for years.

Now I just need the 80s fashion revival to bring back the princess-seamed, swing-style dresses with full skirts, from when the 80s wanted to be the 50s.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I usually do more like 450 for about 15 minutes.
