So that's my dream. That and some stuff about cigars and a tunnel.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Because I hadn't read the first, I could not figure out who were siblings and who were cousins

The siblings are Toby (the blond boy), Sophia (the narrator), and Henry (the tomboy). Veronica is the cousin (and daughter of the King), and Simon is possibly her half-brother and also the King's son, I haven't read the second one yet and I don't know if that's been answered.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

In the second book, it is implied that Toby

and Simon are lovers, and Sophia likes Simon.

So the half brother thing is a little confusing.

Yes, that's also implied in the first one. So, half-cousins, I guess. The British are less stressed about consanguinity.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow. I'm kind of shocked that Patrick Rothfuss wasn't nominated for Best Novel for "A Wise Man's Fear".

But how awesome was it that Community was nominated for "Remedial Chaos Theory"?!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That is pretty awesome!!

And Seanan was nominated four times, which is the first time a woman has received four Hugo nominations in the same year!
