shrift,
I hope they find your bag and get it to you soon. One of my co-workers got her bag delivered right to our door this morning via someone from the airline or some courier or something. She was shocked, as was I. I hadn't heard of an airline being that good about returning something they'd lost.
actally - that is how lost luggage has been return to us - to th edoor. of course when we were in CT and it was winter it took three days. But the airline gave us money for the clothes we bought
Spidra, if it were me, I probably would have said that out-loud thinking I had nothing left to lose...
my favorite thing - when I was working for a software company that decided it didn't need software testers anymore - Was when they stood right outside my cube and talked about demolishing it for the remodel. the only reason I didn't say anything, is becuase DH still works there.
He's the one who helped me get hired here. I think it was just being momentarily clueless on his part. In previous times, I probably would have pointed it out to him, but I didn't feel like it this time. Too distracted by this damned sinus stuff which is making my whole head throb.
Yeesh, beth.
Last week, the publisher and two of the big wigs from Corporate and a senior manager here went across the street to a microbrewery/restaurant to have a "business meeting". More of our cost-cutting measures, no doubt.
I have abrasions on my shoulder from carrying around my books all day. Sheesh.
Timelies all!
My arms are sore from swimming. Also, I have marks around my eyes from the goggles.
SA, if you're carrying them over only one shoulder I highly recommend switching to both shoulders. Then you won't have happen what happened to me. I ended up with 6 weeks of physical therapy to get my back, shoulder and left arm back into full use and massive doses of naproxyn to kill the pain.
