sometimes back pocket holes, random snags, and holes where the legs are too long and get stepped on.
Oh yeah, I get those too.
Once I was cutting cardboard with a utility knife and ended up cutting a 1/2 " slit in the leg of a new pair of black jeans. Of course, it got all frayed around the cut, so the hole really stood out.
Sometimes my t-shirts get holes in them when my cat jumps on my back and uses his claws to climb to my shoulder. But usually that only happens to thin and/or worn t-shirts.
The crocuses were just breaking the topsoil last friday. I forgot to make note of them today (there are quite a few free range crocus patches along this one bit of road.)
LL Bean makes flannel-lined and polar fleece-lined jeans. My ex-housemate bought me a pair and I've worn them like they're going out of style.
Hemp jeans exist.
Yeah, but the one time I tried some on, they had none in my size. I had them order me a pair but they never showed up.
I suppose I could try again....
Too bad ChiPants isn't still in business.
Do people buy jeans online? Even when I buy Levis there seems a lot of variation in sizing between the different lines, so I'm afraid if I bought jeans without trying them on it'd be a crapshoot.
If you've got a place with a good return/exchange policy, buying over the internet can still be less stressful than going to a mall. LLBean uses those virtual model thingies.
That extended patch of false spring we had in February really messed up some of the little bulbs, but thankfully daffodils and other plants are pretty cold-hardy and able to regenerate the growing tips again and again if necessary.
Speaking of pants (but not jeans), I went to Lucy and got two new pairs of pants, one for stretching/lounging and one for general daywear. And I got to apply TWO coupons, which brought the price down to reasonable. Yay!
tommyrot, the last pair of jeans I bought, I tried on the size/style in the store, and then ordered the extra-long from the website. It was like magic!
