Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Ooh, Major Davis! Sorry, crossover Canadian actor love.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How far back are you watching, Emily?

I've never spent $100 on a shirt, either. Can't imagine doing it. That's leather or dress or jacket prices for me.

However, I just spent my $350 work award on a very small purse, and it makes me laugh every time I look at it. I can't believe that's some people's entire lives, instead of me just spending mad money.

Season 2. There was incredible cringe-worthiness, what with the Whitney. Now there's lovely Lexitude, Major Davis, and an implausible dishonor-among-thieves plotline. Also, Lionel cuddling Martha to his bosom protectively. And they just killed the hot guy.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I really have a hard time giving up things. The most I've been able to give away is a few books that I'm pretty sure I'll never want to read again, or want to lend out, et cetera.

Seriously, I have more books that I can probably ever read again in my lifetime, even if I didn't sleep. And never buy a new one, either.

I can't imagine watching those...I'm not sure when it went south for me, but this season is worse than cringworthy, in general. It used to be such fun!

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Damn! I can't believe that Octavia Butler is dead.

Dang. That is really sad. She had a thing going on.

On the importance of $100... Nathan is not hopping out of his shirt for no stinking single-Benji!

(BTW, my grocereries were $80, this month, sans booze)

This is me. I am really trying to get rid of a lot of stuff before Dave and I find a place together, and it is just so hard. Especially the book thing.

Oh, Jonathan Kent. Pride sure does go before an ASSHOLE. Sorry, I will try to restrain myself (although Lionel is so... Lionel-ly). At least this is better than the Whitney episode.

I would hope that Nathan doesn't need to take money for taking off his shirt. It's more attractive to me when it's free.

I can totally give away books. Fiction. I'm a bookcrossing ho. Non-fiction I cling to my sweaty breast, though. Love it.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Trying to find out when other shows are coming back. ABC tells me no date has been set for Alias. Fine, at least they say that. Their Commander In Chief page has no useful information, but what they do have is creepy.
