It's a real burden being right so often.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Papa John's is serviceable, and that's really the garlic butter and free pepper talking.
t looks over Yeah, it really was just about the garlic butter and peppers... It sufficed as food, that's the best I can say.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's good progress, Aurelia. Hopefully they will let you pet them soon.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Late to the weekend thing, but I am at the second job tomorrow and then Sunday is MAJOR CLEANING and CULLING day.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

ita, can you handle something mild like applesauce?

Hopefully they will let you pet them soon.

At this point I wonder if I should start being more assertive about handling them (and how much damage Rosie will do to me if I do)?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was just starting to worry (in the past couple of days) that my cat was a little lethargic, but tonight, he is FREAKING OUT all over the apartment. I think I just notice him lying around more when I'm home more.

I'm all about forcing shy kitties to get used to people. But then, I've dealt with more than a few damaged ones who have to get used to the idea the people living with them aren't going to hurt them.

And then there is Devi, who has no such fear, but is just ...jumpy. About everything. OTOH, I get lots of attention from her so long as I'm in bed.

Every so often, I get freaked out by Mister Kitty's sleeping all the time. Worry I've put him into a coma. And then I remind myself he is 12+ and the laziest cat ever. He's never been active.

I made mac & cheese with shredded roasted chicken for dinner. It seems to be agreeing with me, but that's only after a quadruple dose of lactaid to smooth it out. Human chemistry is stupid.

I think trying to pet them might be a good idea, Aurelia, just to get them used to it.

Since we are posting pet pictures, Ozzie: [link] and Perkins: [link]

Today I put a couple of dangling toys on the cat tree and now it is the BEST TOY EVAH! It's very entertaining.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My cat is pretty much scared of her own shadow. Don't know why, she was never feral and I've had her since she was very young,(Maybe too young, but I can't do anything about that now)She also has a tendancy towards being Velcro kitty.(Especially when I wear black. Funny that.)
