Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The object is to introduce subtle curvature into the walls. If done subtly enough, the result is that a person in the room would have a vague sense that something is not right, without being able to tell what is actually wrong.

tommyrot just want's everyone to feel like something is wrong with their eyes. You could paint stripes that vary just enough to imply curves where there aren't any.

There is a theatre in Evanston in which the back wall is not parallel to the proscenium line. I work there rarely enough that each time it takes me about an hour to realize what is wrong.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, that's phishing. Of course I just heard they captured a bunch of 419ers that had made a couple million bucks off of hapless rubes.

I hear phishing explained all the time--NPR podcasts, company alerts, yadda, yadda.

Yikes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

People are idiots. I swear.

Daniel Franco says it was the editing [link] :

As a man who believes in priciples & honor, I must let it be known that I would never ever approach a happily married woman with any awkward intentions at all. It does not match up one bit with my ethics.

When I said "I Love You Heidi.." It was because she said something incredibly complimentary about my lingerie collection, not shown on the special, and I meant it as a great term of affection, respect and admiration. She said something that was to me, a great validation of my work. (Confidentiality agreement kicks in now.)

He's still creepy.

Huh. Even with the "Nigerian widow" name and the like, it never occurred to me that it would be primarily Nigerians pulling the scheme.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

As a man who believes in priciples & honor, I must let it be known that I would never ever approach a happily married woman with any awkward intentions at all.

Blech.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sometimes, when I give in to patterns, it helps to go into the deep end. This shirt will be cracking me up all day.
That's ... a pattern you've got there. Or four patterns having rampant pattern sex on your turtleneck. It's also pretty fabulous.

People are idiots. I swear.
And Jesse Explains It All. Life is so much easier when you keep this in mind.
