Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Am I right, Sean?

Well, it wasn't so much "won" as "beat up a teenage girl and took it from her," but yeah.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I heard that the stars of Sesame Street on Ice! pulled off a surprise upset in the figure-skating competition.

For the record: Snuffleupagus -- bronze; one of the Yip Yip Yip Yip Yip muppets -- silver; and in a stunning turn of events, the gold medal went to....GUY SMILEY!!!!!

It's amazing how well one can skate with a hand up one's ass.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

ION, I think my halogen lamp is dead. I can't find any shorts, the bulb is good so I'm suspecting the rheostat (?the dimmer switch.) Which I can't get to. So now to find a place that carries these lamps because I hate the 3 way bulb ones and that's all I've seen at target and its ilk.

sarameg, you can get a replacement dimmer switch here if you feel like doing the repair yourself: [link]

I've seen them occasionally in home centers, too. I've replaced a couple of them, and it isn't difficult. As you say, no one seems to carry the lamps anymore.
