Don't worry, we're sure to spot Faith first. She's like this cleavagy slut-bomb walking around 'Ooh, check me out, I'm wicked-cool, I'm five-by-five.'

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

ION, I think my halogen lamp is dead. I can't find any shorts, the bulb is good so I'm suspecting the rheostat (?the dimmer switch.) Which I can't get to. So now to find a place that carries these lamps because I hate the 3 way bulb ones and that's all I've seen at target and its ilk.

sarameg, you can get a replacement dimmer switch here if you feel like doing the repair yourself: [link]

I've seen them occasionally in home centers, too. I've replaced a couple of them, and it isn't difficult. As you say, no one seems to carry the lamps anymore.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You should tell us what it is, Jesse, so we can mock it.

Also, OMG, today is never ever going to end, is it?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

We need to hire someone to see to it, then.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You should tell us what it is, Jesse, so we can mock it.

Eh. It's just some fake consulting thing about program planning and stuff, but what we got is just LAME.

Oh well.

I think I may be naughty and sneak out a few minutes early.

Don't tell anyone though.

DXM, I thought about that, but when I said I couldn't get to it ... really, I can't. I tried to see if I could reach the mechanism or disconnect the switch and...it must have been put together by machines!

I swear, modern appliance assembly totally thwarts the DIYer in me. And my second-generation-Depression-survivor mentality. (When my grandfather died at 90, we finally examined his dish drainer closely. It had NO original materials left. All fence wire and epoxies. Had to be 40+ years old.)

Jeebus, msbelle. I really really hope y'all find a way to get the schedule to ease up.
