OK, question: would it be reasonable for me to request my locks get changed AGAIN because of the fire in the leasing office? They only have the knob key, not the deadbolt, and I figure all identifying info got burnt to a crisp.

However, I just learned this was the second fire in the area this week, there was the creepiness with the unsecured vacancy last week, and I'm just wigged at my ability to sleep through firetruck screaming and those presumably unsecured keys floating about that are probably just being tossed in the hopper.

Fire scares the hell out of me, even as I do like to play with it. Wish I could take my kitties to work with me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Losing your metrocard sucks, msbelle. Did you buy it with a credit card or whatever it is that means they can credit you back the days?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Imight be able to get a credit back as I think I still have the transit check stubs. I am looking into it.

Allyson, if we're voting, I vote for BNF.

also, msbelle, have you ever seen 50 Book Challenge?

I hope you can get credited.

Oh, for reference, if you go to a conference and pick up one of those creditcard sized magnets? Do not put it in your pocket with your metrocard. At least in DC. It erases them, as my dad found out.

Hey, since my lease paperwork all burnt up, this probably means breaking my lease will be easypeasy!
