yes, and I'm shrift in my not really being able to eat first thing.

I need a second breakfast this morning -- my first one didn't take. I haven't stopped moving since I got here today, and it's already 1...GAH. Maybe there's a deli that's still doing egg sandwiches. I can't deal with real food on a day like this.
speaking of breakfast foods, I had the yummiest brunch on Sunday, a sweet potato and chorizo hash with over easy eggs on top. SO GOOD!
Well, it depends on the burb in question. Some places are like your experience, others, like my crappy town, small single-family homes start at around 100k.
Yeah. Small, single family homes start near 400K, here. Two and a half years ago, we sold a 2BR (5 room total) house for about 375K. It had a 30 year old roof, and a 60 year old furnace, and no garage.

Was that at home, Nora, or was that out some place? Some place I really need to know about.
Frank, we went to Red Rock Bistro in Swampscott: [link]
Excellent, excellent brunch. Also, super Bloody Marys. Right on the water.
Also, we went to Major Magleashes in Salem for a couple of pitchers on Friday night. Do you know that place?

Ah, yes, Red Rock - I've been there. That must have been a special or a new addition to the menu - it's been a few years at this point.
That other place I've been in maybe twice. It's not quite as scary inside as it looks from the outside, but it really didn't hold any interest for me (granted, that was also pre-smoking ban - you can imagine what it was like then). Cheap drinks, though.
I always have two breakfasts during the work week. Can't make it to lunch without them. Weekdays is hot cereal at home, and something pastryish (today is mini apple pies) at work. On the weekend I aim to have pancakes at least once. Mmm. Pancakes.
Just completed a semi-defensive response to my annual evaluation. God, when did I become average?
"Single-family homes" barely exist here, and it's making me cranky. It's not as though I can afford to buy a home in this neighborhood anyway, but it would be really nice to at least have some *options* in-between the 1-br condos and the 5-family brownstones. I have no interest in being anyone's landlord, no matter how much financial sense it might make.

There are companies that specialize in management of other people's rental properties. I'm not sure they'd handle a place that small, but maybe it's worth looking into.
