Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I love traditional breakfast foods: eggs (fried, boiled, scrambled or in an omlette), bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, french toast, cold and hot cereals, hash browns, etc. Most of them just aren't that good for you, though.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I finally got my official notice of condofication for my apartment under the front door this morning. Included in the paperwork was the offer for first refusal. I wasn't going to buy it anyway, since it's only a 1BR with no washer/dryer in the unit and only street parking that you have to pay an additional $24/month for the city permit, but it is in a nice vintage six-flat in a great neighborhood. Based on the price of a non-vintage unit I saw listed across the street for $125K (with a parking spot in the lot behind that building), I was thinking my place would be going for around $110-120K.

Try $189,500.

And some co-workers are wondering why I'm still renting...

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I could eat breakfast three times a day.

Can't help you with the video Connie, but I think I have a couple of stills from that on my laptop at home.

Happy Katie day!

Yikes! That'll get you a really good-sized house in the burbs.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I am just not cut out for breakfast unless it can be purchased and eaten in the car, and that sort of defeats the healthy side of things.

I have been happily inducted into the cult of the toaster waffle. It helps that I don't eat them with a fork and knife with syrup or anything, but out of the hand dry (but hot). I can walk to public transit and be done with breakfast by the time I get there.

Coffee, either at home or later, is a non-negotiable.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

One of my coworkers keeps Eggo waffles and frozen berries in the fridge here at work. He throws some berries on the waffle and microwaves it and it smells SO GOOD.

What is even happening?

Yikes! That'll get you a really good-sized house in the burbs.
I don't think it would get a studio around here. My mother's got an offer in on a two bedroom. It's nearly twice that. There are some two bedrooms around here going for 400K or more. It's sick.
