Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yep. I'm in Ventura this weekend for a con, and in May I'm moving to Chicago.

YAY!!!!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I just finished a bowl of oatmeal, AIWFG

I've been trying to eat more oatmeal. My annual physical said my cholesterol was high. I figured the easiest fix would be to stop having the egg, cheese and meat breakfast sandwhiches in the cafeteria every morning and have oatmeal instead. This morning I just couldn't do it. I looked at the oatmeal, went "Bleh" and got a breakfast sandwhich instead. I mean, I like oatmeal, but I've been eating it almost every morning for over a month.

What is even happening?

Happy Birthday, Katie!!!

I didn't catch 24 last night, but forgot that until after I started reading the white font and was puzzled that I couldn't remember what anyone was talking about.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Have you tried various sweetners? Like honey or brown sugar? Various fruits, like bananas, raspberries, etc?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I've been trying to actually eat breakfast rather than skipping it. This morning, I managed two pieces of toast.

I am just not cut out for breakfast unless it can be purchased and eaten in the car, and that sort of defeats the healthy side of things.

information libertarian

msbelle, I dreamed my family was visiting your apartment last night. You were a gracious hostess and had many toys to offer Casper to play with. Your apartment was two rooms, one a kitchen/living room and the other a bed/bath which has a huge sunken whirlpool tub that took up 1/4 of the floor space. The only thing was, you taught my two-year-old child to smoke cigarettes, and she wandered around the rest of the dream puffing away. How could you!?

I get it from the cafeteria at work, which means my choices are brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins. I normally do the first two, and throw raisins in occaisionally for a change of pace. At home I've got some different flavored instant stuff that I eat on the weekends, but I'd rather get an extra 15 minutes of sleep in the morning than wake up early enough to cook and eat oatmeal at home.

I don't like eating traditional breakfast foods for breakfast. If I do eat breakfast, it's usually something like a bowl of miso.

I love traditional breakfast foods: eggs (fried, boiled, scrambled or in an omlette), bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, french toast, cold and hot cereals, hash browns, etc. Most of them just aren't that good for you, though.
