Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Perkins, cure for boredom = a walk outside. Maybe getting a magazine to read while you eat?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Speaking of dogs, the Puppy Bowl is coming back! Not only that, but they're having a half-time show of, yes, kittens!! Something to switch to if the Super Bowl is a blow-out.

Whoot! I'll have to go out to watch the game, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I almost went out to buy lunch. Instead I drove to a mostly empty car park, read a little, and lay and mused a little.

Came back and ate at my desk. It was okay.

If only the co-worker one over wouldn't keep sighing plaintively and muttering "Oh god, oh god, Jesus Christ" under her breath and then rubbing her face loudly.

Until her, I hadn't considered one could rub one's face loudly.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ooh. Time to get my LCD widescreen TV repaired, and try out the picture-in-picture feature....

Art Crawl!!!

I don't know how Greg and his terrier did, I just saw their picture on the website. Go to Friday's "around the Tampa Convention Center" Gallery -- he is the second picture.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hmmm... any Somervillains want to go to IKEA during the Superbowl?

Always Anti-fascist!

I mostly just watch The Word. Don't hate me. It took me a long time to take to TCR.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Perkins! Eat your lunch! Do something else outside.

Perkins, cure for boredom = a walk outside. Maybe getting a magazine to read while you eat?

Jesse and msbelle are wise, but sadly, it is kind of grey and yuck out, and I am not wearing good walking shoes. I think I shall have to bring or wear some tomorrow. I am eating my brought-with lunch though, so that's something at least.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I discovered today that my previous instinct to avoid red meat TV dinners was spot-on, as my beef portabello lunch smelled truly vile when cooked. Picked up grilled chicken and broccoli from a local deli instead, and the cashier guy undercharged me by $2 after correcting a $5 overcharge. Good food tastes even better when it's cheap.
