I need someone to convince me that being bored isn't a good enough reason to go spend too much money on sushi for lunch, especially when I bought my lunch in order to save money.

Another case-in-point about smart people acting dumbly on TV: the Daily Show had an interview the day before with Mark Crispin Miller, no dummy, who Ed Helms made a fool of.

Speaking of dogs, the Puppy Bowl is coming back! Not only that, but they're having a half-time show of, yes, kittens!! Something to switch to if the Super Bowl is a blow-out.

I almost went out to buy lunch. Instead I drove to a mostly empty car park, read a little, and lay and mused a little.
Came back and ate at my desk. It was okay.
If only the co-worker one over wouldn't keep sighing plaintively and muttering "Oh god, oh god, Jesus Christ" under her breath and then rubbing her face loudly.
