beth!

I've been following your "Beep Me" posts and my fingers are very crossed for you and your DH, in health and work issues alike.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Part of the reason I chose both topics, to my Masters' (traffic) and now (networks) is how they may have practical applications and not just remain in the halls of the academia.

Yeah, that's cool.

timelies.

GA was a little to close to home with the lung cancer patient. He had stage 3b, while my MIL was just diagnosed with 3a, unoperable lung cancer. I'll make sure B doesn't watch it.

Jimmy-jam and I are having a lazy morning. He got me up at 6 to feed him, watch him use the litter box (he's weird) and then we went back to bed until 10. Now he's sitting watching me type. I think he misses his daddy. I know I do.

I think he misses his daddy. I know I do.

Um, he's NOT the cat's DAD. It's a biological impossibility!

I can't believe people have a holiday today, and not me. I'm actually wishing I was in Alberta!

Adoptive daddy?

I'm actually bored and tired. I should probably try and get out of the house today.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy birthday benno and Jon B!

I have today off too. My plans are unambitious, involving perhaps a workout and then lunch with a friend. Exact amount of krav to be determined later.

Re GA: Bailey is the best mother ever, showing her son the surgery, but taking him out of the room so he doesn't see the kid die. I thought the post-mortem cosmetic surgery was kinda weird, but if the parents assented, I guess my vote doesn't count.

Punishingly Intricate

SA is me re. GA. And Izzy really should have told George that there are other, actual available women out there. That really pissed me off. Did she have reason to think Meredith would be romantically interested in George at all? Did I miss something? (I only really started watching a couple of eps ago.)

And I was flipping between GA and Intervention so thought I missed the diagnosis of the orgasm girl. But no? They didn't ever say what was going on with her?

GA: I just couldn't believe that his face looked so good post post-mortem surgery. Even within GA's normal suspension of disbelief medicine, that seemed odd to me.
