I don't know about you guys, but I've had it with super-strong little women who aren't me.

GA: I just couldn't believe that his face looked so good post post-mortem surgery. Even within GA's normal suspension of disbelief medicine, that seemed odd to me.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Timelies,

Yay, shrift. Happy Birthday to Jon B and belated to Beverly.

Actually fell asleep on time last night, then kept waking up all night, coupled with dreams of me waking up and doing stuff. First I dreamed I woke up, got out of bed and turned on my computer, only to find it horribly infected with spyware. Later I dreamed I got up and started getting ready for work, but the power wasn't working in my bathroom. Very odd.

Had a good weekend. Had a date with a girl I hit it off with at the Con the previous weekend. Went very well. We're making plans to get together this coming weekend. The group my swordsmanship instructors belong to is holding their equivalent of a belt test on Saturday and they invited all of us down to watch and I'm going to bring her with me. She's more excited about seeing the sword fighthing than I am, which is cool.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sue, I can actually wank that by figuring that since the face didn't need to actually work, they could just do whatever to make it look good.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bah. I am at work today. Don't wanna be here....

My brain is not waking up, except for the part devoted to surliness. I am having more tea. The tea box is telling me to "Indulge in the soothing ritual of tea." Stupid tea box - don't tell me to indulge in any soothing rituals. And my computer is all like, "Warning: Null value is eliminated by an aggreate or other SET operation." And I'm all like, "Well duh, I know that. Just eliminate the Null values from the aggregate opeation and don't whine to me about it."

Bah. No other inanimate objects had better annoy me today....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sue, I also figured that there wouldn't be excessive bruising and some of the messes you get from a live body reacting to surgery. But I'm totally guessing there--I initially thought it an impractically bad idea.

As for George and Izzie, they're both romantics. I can totally believe that George isn't thinking with his dick--he's just not thinking period. He fell in love and is convinced that his rightness for her should be enough. Izzie's a bit hopeless herself, despite the dumpster sex with Alex. I do believe in the telling them thing, though. Whether or not it works out. Sometimes, in fact, to verify it won't. As for Meredith, yeah, totally plausible. Ouch.

Congrats on the date, Kalshane!

But Jesse,

why were there no incision marks or sutures? How can a dead face heal? Can you shape dead flesh?

Sue, there were. Over to the left side (his right) I could see tracks on his face. In fact, McSteamy barely had any marks on his face without time to heal, so evidently he's a genius.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Happy Birthdays Jon B. and Benno and Beverly!

Careful, tommyrot. That bench is looking kind of shifty.

Thanks, ita.

Okay, I must have missed them.

I don't know how I feel about George and Meh. Part of me wants to see him get what he wants (possibly the overidentifying part). But I can see no way that this won't end badly.
