What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

Generally I teach at 8 on Mondays

Wow, that's an evil hour.

Theo! What if I motivate you to play with us online instead of cleaning? Will that count as helping or the other way around?

Now I'm starting to ponder it for during the summer...

Um, visit Israel. Right?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Heat kicked on at 8:30. It just got up to 63°. It's good to know the heat isn't broken and the cats won't freeze during the day, but the landlord isn't playing by the rules, dammit.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Jon! Happy belated, Beverly!

I have no school today, either. I never thought I'd say this, but: I need a job. I'm booooored. Of course, I should also be spending much more time on my thesis and my Real Job search, but still.

aurelia, you should definitely report your landlord.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Happy President's Day everyone! I'm not at work! Woot!

And happy belated to Bev, and happy birthday to Jon!

Jesse, what's the subject of your thesis?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Um, visit Israel. Right?

I think I have too many things I want to do in the too little time I have off from school. (Oh, that reminds me, I wanted to look into Hebrew classes at the JCC. I want to get my Hebrew skills up to some level beyond "Can recognise the names of foods on restaurant signs, and occaisionally pick up bits and pieces of other peoples' conversations," which is where I was when I was in Israel last summer.)

Wow, that's an evil hour.

Yes it is. Nothing should require brainpower before 9 at the earliest.

I'll start by talking to the landlord. Maybe the threat of being reported will work.

Jesse, what's the subject of your thesis?

Well, it's not actually a traditional thesis, but that's easier to say. I'm doing a project for a client, a nonprofit social service agency, about client and program data collection and management. So I'm (trying to) survey other organizations about what they do, and look at some of the commercial products available, and the needs of the organization, and then I'll make some recommendations about what they should do.

Especially on a Monday. My roommate just had to take an exam on 8:30 yesterday (Sunday is the Israeli Monday). That's just evil.

Now I want to sit and chat with you in Hebrew.

Jesse, does it mean that your project/thesis will actually have some implementation, not just stay theoretical? Because that's great. Also, it reads like it demands a whole set of skills, so it looks like it would really put what you're learning into use, right? Go you.
