Lambiel's routine was much better.

Who chooses these costumes??? Also, I don't understand why they don't wear more white, so you're not constantly reminded that they fell, as you are when they wear black.

Johnny Weir has pretty eyelashes.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Evan Lysack blew me away. Can you imagine if he hadn't frelled his short program?

I feel like Dick Button needs anti-depressants or something. He's like the bored french fed ex guy in the old dhl commercials... "the bourgoisie businessmen waiting for thier packages? let them wait!" Even when he likes something he takes the opportunity to bitch about the people who did it badly.

Johnny's costume is just... awful. Not just ugly, but it screws with the line, draws the eye up to his chest, and he ain't got nothing there to pay attention to. Also, the music is boring.

I missed Lysacek.

Johnny's costume really was that bad, but I liked his music a lot.

Jeffrey Buttle is cute, if fourteen-looking.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I think that Matt Savoie was my big find for the male skaters (although the blond Canadian was also fantastic)--I really like what he did in terms of artistic grace, and he was (as Button and Hamilton were constantly pointing out) innovative in his combinations and jump approaches.

Speaking of discoveries, I loved the Snowboard Cross!! You don't see much head-to-head racing in winter sports, and it had maneuvering as well as pure speed and cool jumps. I will definitely tune in again for the women's race.

Oh, yeah, I liked Matt Savoie too -- especially in the short program, where he had the only not-awful costume I saw. *g*

Matt Savoie was a beautiful skater, from what I remember of the short program. And he had a good, understated costume. (Hee. Jinx, Consuela.)

This French costume is hysterical. But I enjoyed this song in Lord of the Dance.

Buttle was fun.

Poor Lysacek. I wish I'd seen his free skate. I really liked his short program.

ETA: Best wishes to JenP.
