Murk: But you're a God! The Sacred Glorificus! Glory: I'm a God in exile. Far from the Hellfires of Home and sharing my body with an enemy that stabs my boys in their fleshy little stomachs!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Valentine's Day poem from Neil Gaiman:

Roses are red,
Violets are purple,
Which is a very hard word to rhyme
And makes me happy that on February the 14th we don't traditionally have to give each other oranges.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I laughed long and hard at TDS last night.

I was rolling around on the couch at the expression on Jon's face when they got to the Olympic opening ceremonies.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

When did Cheney make any jokes?

He didn't. But official people making jokes about it just seems tacky.

I just witnessed spontaneous Hokey Pokey.

They have a suppository for that now, don't they?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

So now the guy had a heartattack due to bird shot reaching his heart: [link].

Dude. As if the Aerosmith parodies weren't enough now there will Bon Jovi filks as well.

I laughed long and hard at TDS last night. I figured the guy was in intensive care because he was in his seventies.

And that's a reasonable assumption on your part, but Scott and the boys -- particularly since they've been working so hard to make sure the guy is ok that they couldn't squeeze out a press release -- know better.

Of course, its fortunate I do not work on the whitehouse staff. They'd have to keep chasing me out of camera range.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't make this headache go away. I'm going to take my one triptan left for the day and go back to bed. So much for working from home. Sick day #3 of 2006. I hate this.
