It seemed to have confused the shit out of everyone. Apparently, it looked like an old WWII bomb. Even the bomb squad didn't know what the hell to do with it.
Finally, someone who works at the DoD saw it on the news and called his boss who went out and pronounced it a dud.
HELP.
I got new contact lenses today. They're great. I love them. But they won't come out. They came out when I was practicing this afternoon, but I really really need them to come out now. I don't think they were supposed to be in for this long in the first place. They've been in for over ten hours. I've been digging around in my eyes, which are all red now, but I can't see the contacts, and I don't really feel them, and they are NOT coming out.
Help?
Oh, Alibelle, I hope you got them out! Not much I can do from here!
Aimee, I have to admit my opinion is based on a sample size of one.
Bailey just seemed so in control which seem so not possible. I think controlor giving it up was the theme of the entire episode.
It worked well thematically, just not realistically.
Alibelle, I have no suggestions for the contacts but what you are describing is why I don't have contacts yet.
I'm leaving for my parents house today and I'm very excited. I am, however, nervous about getting Ellie and I and our luggage on the plane.
♥ ♥ ♥ Happy Valentine's Day Natterbugs ♥ ♥ ♥
I hope everyone has a loverly day.
For those who may be a bit down, it is Tuesday, just like last week and next week.
I have to report for jury duty today.
May you have either have quick release because they have too many jurors or a one day funny civil case. Go out and administer justice dude.
My exciting date today is a 10am closing on a new line of credit. Woo!
Brendon Jr. has his first middle school basketball game tonight. He isn't the center because they have a 6'4" 12 year old Chinese kid. Child has size 18 shoes already. Nice kid. I pity his poor mom the clothing bills.
Speaking of Comedy Central news parody shows, TDS was on fire tonight!! As Jon pointed out, the Cheney shooting was a gift from heaven for the writers--I didn't stop laughing until the commercial break.
Oh it so was. It was almost too easy - like shooting a Texas m(b?)illionaire in a barrel.
However, I'm not sure what's up with Comedy Central's re-run schedule. The shows at 8 and 8:30 were Weds'., not Thursday's. I didn't need to see Corddry host again, but I really wanted to tape Colbert from Thursday.

Seconded!
In my last jury pool, the guy sitting next to me leaned over and whispered, "I believe in the violent overthrow of the government."
I suggested he mention that right away. He was out of the judge's box in 3 seconds flat...but one of the guards followed him out of the courtroom...
