What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

Huh. I have about a foot. And that's just piles on my railings. That was ..more than I expected. Now we're supposed to get some big winds (I don't think we had them last night, else I wouldn't have piles on my inch wide railings.) I have a shot I took at 7 am, when it had just stopped. I'll get it online later.

I have to decide whether to shovel out my car or do laundry first. I'm tempted to do the car first, but if we get wind....all that crap on the trees is going to have to be cleared off again.

Gotta go dry my hair, either way.

Huh. I don't think I have a boom story. I'm going to have to think on that for a while.

Weirdest thing. Like a living thing that just dropped by: "Hi, y'all! Washing dishes? Boring. Bye!"

Ha! Also - wild.

We've got a little under a foot, I'd say. Took a picture with my phone. I suppose I could spend some time figuring out how to send it... somewhere.

I gave myself until 1p before I had to start chores. Am late. Off I go? I guess.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm at my desk watching the cat watch the birdies in the birdfeeder in the window. Pretty soon I'm going to have to go downstairs and get some window cleaner because he keeps bonking his nose on the glass when they flutter in for a landing....

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Heh -- 10 Things I Hate About You is on Comedy Central, and I'm having WEIRD cognitive dissonance watching Heath Ledger mack on Julia Stiles.

Damn, he's young and hot. Nice big hands, too.

The status is NOT quo.

Thanks for the bday wishes! Ah 31...it feels so...31. Really, what an odd birthday. I don't quite know what to make of it.

It is also Maria's (mfnlaw) bday, so hippo birdies to her as well!

I kinda wish I could teleport home for the blizzard for a little bit. I'm so not used to the "warm and sunny on my birthday" thing. But...um...only kinda. This is awfully nice too.

All is well that ends in pizza.

For the second night in a row, I've fallen asleep unexpectedly in the evening and napped through dinner. It seems lisinopril has replaced the Insomnia Fairy with a tiny elfin version of my mother who thinks I need to get more sleep and lose weight.

Lisinopril can have a few different side effects like that. It was evil to me.

Basically it made me so lethargic and weak, it took me forever to get out of bed and go about any business of the day. So I stopped taking it, and I got better in a couple of days. I told the doctor I wouldn't take it again. He was surprised, but didn't prescribe me a different ACE inhibitor. Luckily my BP is within normal range and my Cholesterol is wonderful, or I'd have to brave something like that again.

t /all about mememe.

Good luck with it. Maybe the symptoms get better as your body gets used to it. I hope so. As long as you don't fall asleep during dinner...

Well, that took a bit over an hour. My spot is totally clear, as are about 1/4 of the spaces on either side (to forestall having to do it again if they decide to muscle out. No snow to spill on my spot! ) Of course, when I get home tomorrow night there is a 99% chance I'll have to do it all over again because some ass will have taken my spot because they didn't shovel out their own.

And now I seriously need another shower. Brilliant idea, sara. Shower then go work up a sweat....

I just took a shower, not because I shoveled or anything, but because I didn't this morning and I felt like it.

And just for a change, it's snowing again, real big fluffy flakes, too.

Oh, and for the record, it was more than a foot deep out by the cars, even in the shallow spots. The drifts were more. But of course, that translates differently in weatherese.
