Our wings are not tired.

Sad to not be able to see Jessica's pictures.

Swouncing

I would love to post some more, but I have to run.

Have great rest-of-the-weekend, everybody!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

well, most adjectives can be parsed that way: fast, faster, fastest. Rare can be, too: rare, rarer, rarest.

I think maybe I just prefer "more rare" because "rarer" sounds weird. Like "rar"

It might just be the midwest accent thing, though.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Y'all cannot post so much on a Sunday. It makes me think it's Monday, and then I panic. Also, I need an extra day of weekend.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oops -- I was missing a number in that URL. It's fixed now. (And for the anti-scroll crowd, DEATHSNOW 2006 photos are here.)

Deathsnow is kinda pretty. It's just cold here. Last week we had temps from 65-75 now it's 30-45. I hate not being able to put up either my winter or summer clothes. Pick a damn season already!

Also check out DH's photos from last night. The ones he took with the night-vision setting are pretty cool.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, I have completed the easiest thing on my to-do list. And The Outsiders is on TV! Now to really dig into the census stuff I was avoiding last night. I have to write a proposal for a case study that's not due til later, but I think I have to do most of the research to write the proposal. Oy.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm at work. I had to walk a whole two blocks in the snow to the subway. Sheesh. I probably had the easiest time of anybody getting here.

...And they just brought the power online.

Huh. I have about a foot. And that's just piles on my railings. That was ..more than I expected. Now we're supposed to get some big winds (I don't think we had them last night, else I wouldn't have piles on my inch wide railings.) I have a shot I took at 7 am, when it had just stopped. I'll get it online later.

I have to decide whether to shovel out my car or do laundry first. I'm tempted to do the car first, but if we get wind....all that crap on the trees is going to have to be cleared off again.

Gotta go dry my hair, either way.
