Thanks, askye!
In light of all the zillow.com house valuations we've been doing this week, this article (Chicago Tribune reg req'd) takes the cake:
An outside user of Porter County's computer system triggered the financial chaos by accidentally changing the value of a Valparaiso house valued at $121,900 to $400 million in early 2005, officials said.
The unfair part of east-coast (I mean, less than 30 miles from the coast) snow is that it's all nor'easters, which is pretty tiresome both in the psychological sense and in the walking-into-a-stiff-wind sense.
They're basically low-grade hurricanes, except it's just not sexy to show pine trees flailing in the wind.
All that said, everybody north of, like, Bergen County knows how to handle snow, even lots and lots of it, and because the east coast has very good public transit, getting around is not nearly the issue it would be if somebody dumped 2 feet on Los Angeles.
I mean, aside from the part where Angelenos would think the world was ending (or that Angel was committing suicide).

Have you
seen
them flail? Downright ungraceful.
Nor'easters - How do you pronounce Canandaigua, NY?
Have you seen them flail? Downright ungraceful.
Last time I saw them flailing...one broke.

I think the final 3 are going to be Santino, Daniel, and Chloe. And I think that it's going to end up being a toss up between Daniel and Santino. For once, his stuff was gorgeous. I really liked a lot of his pieces. Ultimately, I think Daniel is going to win.
Kathy! You're working with Zillow? I only just heard about it from a friend who says that everyone in their office is busy looking up all the houses they ever lived in on it.
(I just looked up three that I can remember.)
Of course, that's only an approximation. I never really mastered the intricacies of the Rahchester Ehaccent in the short time I lived there. Maybe Sophia can help.
