Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

Have you seen them flail? Downright ungraceful.

Last time I saw them flailing...one broke.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Blogging Project Runway has links to the 4 final collections.

sumi - I think the final 3 are going to be Santino, Daniel, and Chloe. And I think that it's going to end up being a toss up between Daniel and Santino. For once, his stuff was gorgeous. I really liked a lot of his pieces. Ultimately, I think Daniel is going to win.

Art Crawl!!!

Kathy! You're working with Zillow? I only just heard about it from a friend who says that everyone in their office is busy looking up all the houses they ever lived in on it.

(I just looked up three that I can remember.)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Of course, that's only an approximation. I never really mastered the intricacies of the Rahchester Ehaccent in the short time I lived there. Maybe Sophia can help.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think it is more like

Can-in-DAY-gwuh, however I think a lot of people say Can-ah-DAY-gwa, because I was about 15 before I relized it had a second N.

Of course, now I live in the Charlotte area (Shar-lot)....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I've loved both since the Innsbruck Games in 1976--Dorothy Hamill and Franz Klammer both ruled those games.

Franz Klammer's downhill was (and still is) the most exciting sporting thing I've ever seen. Total edge of your seat thrillride. When he comes around that corner and he's fighting to get his ski down and just barely makes it....phew.

Also, Dorothy Hamill = my favorite haircut of the 70s. Not that I had a lot to choose from.

Franz Klammer was my first celebrity crush--I was just shy of 10 years old, and thought he was the most gorgeous man alive.
