Yeah, I could do that, but I'm paralyzed with not caring very much.

I've discovered a flaw in my go to bed at a reasonable hour plan (which translates to before midnight, hopefully at 11): I wake up for the first time at 5:30 and then sleep restlessly for another hour or so, then finally give up crankily when my alarm goes off. My real problem isn't getting enough sleep. It's that damned waking up part.

Trust my rage

I'm pretty sure Jon had a son over a year ago and this is a new baby. Someone mentioned it on the show a while back.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well aren't the Stewarts bundles of fertility! Go team repopulating the world with snark.

Watching 24, the correct comment on the guest star is Sydney! And I don't mean Alias. I mean The Pretender.

Well good for them. And Jon was especially funny when he was all cranky and sleep deprived.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

msbelle, maybe you work on that, too.

I think better is slowly coming. I have had moments of ok this morning.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for moments of ok. May there be an abundance of ok to follow.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heh -- the last time Stewart had a baby, I think Colbert took over the anchor spot for that night. Guess they can't do it that way this time!

Samantha Bee is also having a baby (or had -- she was PDP (Pretty Dam Pregnant) the last time I saw her on the show).

She had the baby before Xmas, Theo. Her husband seems to be taking her place during Mat. Leave.

Hey, no fair!

I want to do that sprouts thing--perhaps even to my own keyboard. Which reminds me, I need to water my plants.
