I'm counting on there being relatively few X, Y, and Z names, thus pushing me into the latter half by population numbers.

FWIW, both my first and last names are in the first half of the alphabet. The same is true of George Bush (junior and senior). Also, Alberto Gonzales. If you are counting nicknames, Dick Cheney.
